Police in DeKalb County have arrested two men in connection with a robbery Monday of five Emory University students.

An anonymous tip led detectives to Jonathan Ajizian and Cirilo Ramos, a DeKalb police spokesman said.

Ajizian was arrested Monday, and Ramos was arrested Tuesday, Officer Jason Gagnon said Wednesday. They each were charged with five counts of armed robbery and were being held at the county jail, he said.

The two men are believed to have entered the house in the 2400 block of N. Druid Hills Road through an unlocked door. They came in around 2:30 a.m., tied up the five students at gunpoint and, over the next three hours, cleaned house.

They stole laptops, televisions, other electronics and an undetermined amount of cash, police spokeswoman Mekka Parkish said soon after the incident.

One of the students wiggled free and and call 911, Parish said. One victim was hit on the head but was not seriously injured, she said.
