100 Black Men of North Metro golf event benefits youth and community initiatives

The 100 Black Men of North Metro, Inc.  will hold their eighth annual  Golf Challenge on Friday  to raise funds to benefit  its youth and community initiatives.

The golfing event will support the nonprofit organization's projects to mentor youth, offer health and wellness programs in the community and to provide scholarships to students.  The annual golf challenge will be held a the Heritage Golf Links, 4445 Britt Rd. in Tucker.

Registration begins at 8 a.m., followed by a putting contest at 8:30 a.m. The shotgun start is at 9:30 a.m. and there is a reception at 2:30 p.m.

Sponsorships range from $200 to $10,000.  The cost is $500 for a foursomes and $125 for individual play.
