One of the men accused of fatally shooting a newlywed as he got home from walking his dog was arrested in North Carolina.

Abdul Crawford had been hiding out at a relative’s home in Durham when authorities caught up to him, Channel 2 Action News reported. A second suspect is still on the run.

Crawford, 26, remains in the Durham County Dentition Center awaiting extradition, according to jail records. He was booked Oct. 6.

Police said Crawford and a second man shot and killed newlywed Theodore Moore during a home invasion at his residence on Ridge Forest Drive in Stone Mountain.

Moore’s husband was tied up and forced inside a closet, where he stayed as the suspects shot and killed Moore, Channel 2 reported.

The duo then ransacked the home for 90 minutes and stole television sets before leaving in Moore’s car, according to authorities. The alleged crime was caught on surveillance video.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Stone Mountain police.
