The FBI’s Atlanta office has announced a reward of up to $12,500 for information leading to the arrests and indictments of those who robbed an armored truck in November.

On Nov. 14, two armed people got away with an undisclosed amount of cash from a Dunbar truck at the Bank of America in the 100 block of Broad Street in Winder, the FBI said in a news release Tuesday.

The suspects, believed to be men, approached the guard while he was servicing the ATMs, FBI spokesman Kevin Rowson said. The guard was ordered to the ground, and the men took his gun and got away with the cash.

The robbers were wearing black pants, black pullovers, gloves and “Scream” masks, the agency said.

Two vehicles seen near the bank at the time may be linked to the robbers, investigators said. One is a two-tone Subaru Outback, and the other is an early model Chevy Silverado 2500 pickup truck.

Tipsters can remain anonymous, and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000, by contacting Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, texting information to 274637 or visiting crimestoppersatlanta.org.
