About 10:15 p.m. Thursday, the victim said he heard loud noises from inside the home but didn’t realize anyone broke in, Dunwoody police Sgt. Robert Parsons said. Moments later, two men opened the door where the victim was, fired a shot and ran, Parsons said. The bullet did not hit the victim.

Police said two vehicles — a white 2007 Cadillac Escalade with Georgia license plate RJN6719 and a white Ford F-150 — were missing from the home.

Authorities caution others against approaching them as they may be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dunwoody police at 678-382-6921. Those who see the vehicles are asked to call 911.
