Court: Usher divorce not final
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Contrary to published reports, Usher Raymond and his wife, Tameka Foster Raymond are still married.
According to Don Plummer with Fulton County courts, nothing has been filed with the court as of yet.
“The case if in the process of going through pre-trial motions,” said Plummer. “The case is somewhere between filing for divorce and the final decree by the judge.”
TMZ reported Wednesday that court documents of the couple’s marriage had changed to “disposed,” adding that disposed typically means the divorce is final.
But as of 4 p.m. Plummer said both parties had not come to the court with a settlement agreement yet.
Raymond and Foster-Raymond, who were married in August of 2007, have two small kids together. In July, Raymond filed for divorce from his wife.
