PEACHTREE ROAD RACE
Packets with race numbers have been mailedThe Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Published on: 06/11/08
Packets containing race numbers for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race began arriving in mailboxes this week.
But Atlanta Track Club officials said don't worry if yours hasn't come.
|
The time for concern is June 24. That's when the club will start taking calls from runners who haven't received packets and will try to remedy any problems.
The packets were mailed in two rounds, track club executive director Tracey Russell said, with Time Group 2 through 9 going to the U.S. Postal Service late last week, and the Elites and Time Group 1 being sent on Monday.
With 55,000 packets being sent, it may take a little bit of time for all of them to make their intended destinations.
Remember, that it's not receiving a race packet that confirms your entry into the world's largest 10K on July 4. If your entry check cleared the bank, you're in.
