Wesleyan 84, Randolph-Clay 59: Wesleyan (28-4) had little trouble with Randolph-Clay in the first Class A girls semifinal. The Wolves, who had four players score in double figures, led by Erin Hall (16 points), out-scored Randolph-Clay 34-6 during a big second quarter to go up 43-20 at halftime.

“I think we played an excellent second quarter,” said Wesleyan coach Jan Azar, whose team will play a state championship game for the sixth consecutive season. “[But] I don’t think we played the kind of defense we need to win a state championship.”
