Flowery Branch — Falcons wide receiver Roddy White was held out of practice on Thursday after being pulled on Wednesday.
“Me and Lawyer [Milloy] collided yesterday and I felt a little fuzzy,” White said.

Roddy White, the Falcons top receiver, missed practice this week, but is expected to return to practice Friday.
“We didn’t do (any) test because I felt good. I guess they were just taking precautions.”
White is the Falcons leading receiver with 26 catches for 454 yards and two touchdowns.
“It was just precautionary,” Smith said. “We are expecting him back tomorrow.”
Turner’s bruising style
Falcons running back Michael Turner has gained 317 of his league-leading 543 yards after contact on 103 carries.
A good average per carry is 4.0 and he’s almost averaging that (3.1) after contact. Turner’s after contact average is also tops in the league.
Washington’s Clinton Portis is second at 2.3 yards after contact.
Hitman Koenen
Falcons punter Michael Koenen got his first tackle of the season last week on Green Bay returner Will Blackmon.
“It was more of just pushing him out of bounds,” Koenen said. “It’s not something that I strive to do in the game. I’m the last resort.”
The Falcons coverage units will get tested by Chicago returner Devin Hester this week.
