Police search for suspects in Miami mall shooting
MIAMI — An armored truck company is offering $20,000 for information on two gunmen who shot and killed a guard in a busy suburban Miami mall.
The Dunbar armored truck company named the guard Tuesday as 51-year-old Carlos Alvarado.
Police are still searching for the suspects. Authorities say the attackers fired shots while trying to rob Alvarado inside an Express store at Dadeland Mall.
It's unclear whether the men took any money.
Witnesses heard numerous gunshots and saw shoppers screaming and running through the mall that is about 15 miles southwest of downtown Miami.
Another person was hurt in the shooting but their identity and specific injury have not been released.
