Georgia Gwinnett College has its campus all to itself now, with the University of Georgia moving its Gwinnett satellite campus up the road last week.

UGA's classrooms and offices in Gwinnett now occupy 60,000 square feet of the Intellicenter at 2530 Sever Road in Lawrenceville, about four miles west, just off I-85 at the Old Peachtree Road exit.

As Georgia Gwinnett College has developed into a full-fledged four-year school, UGA has been shuttering its undergraduate offerings in Gwinnett, said Jan Sandor, assistant vice president for academic affairs at UGA's Gwinnett campus. The campus primarily offers graduate programs targeting professionals and continuing education for public school teachers now, she said.

The school is working to significantly expand non-credit professional development programs at the new location, she added.
