DeKalb apartment shooting victims ID’d

DeKalb County police were investigating an overnight shooting at an apartment complex near Lithonia that left a 20-year-old woman dead and an 18-year-old man critically wounded.

The shooting happened after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Audubon East apartments on Tree View Drive, DeKalb police spokeswoman Bettina Durant said.

The female victim was identified as Chateria Kinney. Police said Nykime Greaves was in critical condition.

Investigators have not determined a motive for the shooting, and have no suspects in the case, Durant said Wednesday.
