“Enhance what you already have,” he says. “Why would you want to drive up to a house that doesn’t look great?”

Goulding, whose offices are based in Atlanta, Macon and Birmingham, is slated to speak Friday at the 31st Annual Spring Atlanta Home Show. The expo features more than 300 home improvement vendors and speakers including gardening guru Walter Reeves, landscape and remodeling expert Joe Washington and famed football coach and gardener Vince Dooley.

This year’s show, running Friday through Sunday in its new location at the Cobb Galleria Centre, is geared toward making your home new again, even amid a tough economy.
