The companies did not disclose the terms of the deal.

Source Capital said it helped AirWorx double in size after investing in the firm in 2004 by helping it acquire a local competitor and upgrading its management team, equipment fleet and computer systems.

Source Capital said it specializes in buying small private companies in mature industries that meet certain profit measures above $1.5 million. Brookwood Associates, which has about two dozen employees in Atlanta and Charlotte, said it specializes in transactions in companies valued at $25 million to $250 million.
