CCH Small Firm Services opened its headquarters in Cobb County last week, combining employees from two other Georgia locations at the new Kennesaw facility.

The new headquarters, located in the Chastain Meadows office park, will house the company’s 600 employees, including 400 from offices in Rome, Ga. and elsewhere in Kennesaw. An additional 200 employees will be relocated to the new facility from Florida and Maine within the next two years, said company spokesman Gene Goldenberg.

CCH SFS provides tax and accounting services, including software, research and training, to more than 45,000 small businesses in the country, as well as, tax preparation software for needy residents served through an Internal Revenue Service program.

The 130,000-square-foot Kennesaw headquarters will house the company’s electronic filing center for federal and state returns, a television studio, shipping operations and employee food court and fitness areas.

A few jobs with the company are open and can be found at www.cchsfs.com.
