Smyrna cops seek rape suspects
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Smyrna authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects who held a woman captive for two days, during which she was beaten and raped.
Police said the kidnapping occurred Jan. 17, when the woman, who was walking along Windy Hill Road near South Cobb Drive, was forced into a car at gunpoint. The car was described as a 1990s gold Chevrolet Caprice.
Police said the woman was taken to an unknown location, where she was assaulted.
Police released sketches of the suspects. One was described as a black male with dreadlocks in his early 20s, 6 feet 2 and 140 pounds. The other suspect was described as a Latino male in his early 20s with short, black, spiked hair, 5 feet 2 and 150 pounds.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call Smyrna police detectives at 770-434-9481 or 678-631-5146.
