Pedestrian killed in Austell collision

A 26-year-old pedestrian who stepped in front of a vehicle in Austell has died, Cobb County police said.
Juan Guadalupe Colon of Austell stepped in front of a Chevrolet Suburban on Six Flags Drive around 7 p.m. Friday, police said. He died from his injuries Saturday morning.
Police do not expect to file charges against the 32-year-old woman who was driving the Suburban.
She was westbound on Six Flags Drive near Six Flags Parkway when the accident occurred.
