Cobb County detectives continue to investigate what could be a group of thieves trying to steal cell phones, wallets and money from guests at Six Flags.

Police have arrested two people from College Park on suspicion of stealing bank cards and other items from guests at Six Flags. The items were taken from storage cubbies at Six Flags while the visitors were enjoying the rides, WSB-TV has reported.

Terrnike Ballard, 18; and Melvin Wells Jr., 22, were arrested at Six Flags and charged with multiple accounts of theft by receiving stolen property, according to Cobb County jail records.

The pair were arrested on May 29. Ballard was released on a $15,000 bond, and Wells was released on a $1,000 bond.

A Cobb police spokesman told the AJC that detectives continue to investigate the case.
