Cobb chamber launches economic development initiative

The Cobb Chamber of Commerce has begun a six-month economic development initiative, Cobb’s Competitive EDGE (Economic Development for a Growing Economy).

The Cobb EDGE plan is designed to achieve long-term, high-wage job creation.

Economic development consultant Mac Holladay, founder of Market Street Services, will lead a steering committee of Cobb community, government and business leaders to guide the project through four phases. The work will include an assessment of Cobb’s workforce, comparison to other communities across the country and the foundation for a five-year development strategy.
