A 21-year-old driver apparently crossed the Canton Road Connector grass median and hit another car head-on Saturday afternoon in Marietta.

Dane Olsen and a passenger, 19-year-old Spencer Davis, were both in serious condition immediately after the crash, said Officer Michael Gardner with Marietta police. Olsen's 1996 Cadillac Seville struck a Nissan 350Z south of Sandy Plains Road around 1:25 p.m., Gardner said. The driver of the Nissan was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital in fair condition.

Olsen, of Roswell, was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital, police said. By Sunday afternoon, the hospital was listing him in stable condition. Davis was transported by ambulance to Atlanta Medical Center. He was in critical condition in the intensive care unit Sunday afternoon.

The wreck is still under investigation, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Dave Auld at 770-794-5352.
