Drug bust turns up weapons stash

Clayton County Police found a cache of weapons early Friday morning while serving a drug warrant in Riverdale.
Remarcus Gervonte Harper, 20, of Jonesboro, and Sha’ Quana N. Mathis 20, of College Park, were arrested for possession of more than an ounce of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
While searching their home in the 800 block of Taylor Road police found a 9mm rifle, a 45-caliber handgun and a Remington shotgun along with about $400 worth of marijuana.
Harper and Mathis were transported to the Clayton County Jail.
