Alleged peeping Tom caught at farmers market
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
A produce company employee at the State Farmers Market in Forest Park has been charged with peeping at women in a bathroom, Channel 2 Action News reported.
"We caught him peeping. We did our job. We dismissed him. We called the police," Cliff Sherman, owner of Sunbelt Produce, told Channel 2.
Samuel Brito, 33, allegedly was caught in the act Wednesday when a worker notified Sherman that she noticed insulation was missing from a hole in the women's bathroom. That bathroom was not used by the public, the report said.
Sherman said his female employees had suspected that someone was watching them through the hole, so they had put insulation in it, but it kept being removed.
When Sherman went to an adjacent room that was under construction, he said he found Brito, his employee for 12 years, squatting near the hole, Channel 2 reported.
Brito made his first appearance in Magistrate Court on Thursday and was charged with the misdemeanor offense of Peeping Tom. His bond was set at $4,000.
