One of Atlanta's most historic and diverse neighborhoods will be on display this weekend for the 39th annual Grant Park Home and Garden Tour.

Eighteen of Grant Park's top spots will be on display.

"You have Victorian houses, you have the craftsman bungalows, but you also have newer houses as well," tour co-organizer Nicole Levine told Nelson's News. "(Grant Park) is really eclectic, which you'll see throughout the houses on the tour."

The tour includes the house that Tom Jennings and Tony Raffalovich call home.

"Grant Park was one of the first suburbs in Atlanta and it's primarily late 1800s, early 1900s was the foundation," Raffalovich said. "This house was built in 1886, so I think it was the third house on this side of the park."

"Everything you see in (my) house has been done by myself with the help of partners," Jennings said. "It goes from making the drapes, putting up the crown molding, etching all the glass, painting, everything."

When Jennings moved in in 1978, he had to convert it from a boarding house. Every room had a stove, refrigerator and bed.

Slowly, he gutted the entire structure and built it into the house that sits at 620 Boulevard today.

Jennings' home has been on tour before, but he said it's been about 15 years. 

The tour is Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Money raised goes right back into the neighborhood.
