An 84-year-old Cartersville woman who was in a head-on collision in Waleska Saturday night has died, the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said.
Carrie Akin died Sunday night of injuries sustained in the crash, which occurred on Reinhardt College Parkway just west of Land Road. Akin was a passenger in a car driver by her daughter, Lori Kingsland, who was not hurt, the Sheriff's Office said.
