61-year-old arrested for child porn

A Cherokee County man was arrested Thursday night after investigators found thousands of videos and images of child pornography on his computer, a sheriff’s spokesman said.
Cherokee sheriff’s Lt. Jay Baker said Charles Amy, 61, was arrested at his home in Ball Ground following a month-long investigation by the department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Amy was charged with 40 counts of sexual exploitation of children.
