UPS has opened three new healthcare distribution facilities; two in China and one in Australia.

The Sandy Springs logistics company has a total of 36 healthcare facilities, part of its strategy to invest in healthcare networks. The facilities in Hangzhou and Shanghai, China, and Sydney, Australia will serve pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies.

“Asia is our fastest-growing market for healthcare and we are seeing increased activity in the region, especially in China,” UPS Healthcare Logistics vice president of global strategy Bill Hook said in a statement.
