Among Young’s favorite fashion finds are these orange-and-tan heels by Zara and matching purse.

Name: Tasha Young, RN, BSN, MBA

Age: 38

Occupation: Nurse case manager (managed care), Amerigroup; U.S. Army Reserve captain, clinical nurse ICW

Signature style: “Chic, feminine, classic and sophisticated pieces.”

Best finds: “Barney’s New York black riding boots from Labels Boutique. A silk dress by Trina Turk that ties in the back with a black tulle collar (very Michelle Obama). A blue-and-yellow Lilly Pulitzer dress. Orange-and-tan heels by Zara with matching purse. My best finds actually find me!”

Fashion weakness: “Wrap dresses, sheath dresses, Indian-inspired tunics and platform heels.”

Favorite stores: “Labels, Cache, DSW, Bebe and Karma Couture online.”

Fashion inspiration: “My inspiration comes from my mother growing up. She was a paralegal for a law firm in Philadelphia. I remember going through her closet and trying on her jumpsuits and heels. I also have an aunt who is a fashionista. She always had a very chic and sophisticated look from head to toe.”

Pet peeve: “Fads; they are short-lived. I would rather go for some classic and trendy pieces because of the staying power.”

Best fashion compliment: “To me, the best fashion compliment is the unspoken compliment. I may come into the office one week wearing a certain hairdo or trendy outfit, and the next week more and more women are doing the same who had not done so in the past. That is a compliment. I have been equally inspired by many co-workers who have very classy and trendy styles that cause me to make better choices — not so much for competition as it is to show appreciation.”
