A Delta Air Lines flight bound for Jacksonville, Fla., returned to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Friday after an on-board warning that there was a potential issue with the aircraft’s flaps, a Delta spokesman said.

Spokesman Michael Thomas said the crew of Flight 1186 followed routine procedures for returning the Boeing 757 after the flight deck warning, and the aircraft landed without incident. The plane had 174 passengers and six crew members on board.

“The aircraft returned to the gate here in Atlanta at approximately 12:20 p.m. today,” Thomas told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Customers were reaccommodated on another aircraft, which arrived in Jacksonville just before 2:30 p.m.”
