Commercial real estate veterans form new venture with eye on Southeast
By Staff Staff
Three Atlanta commercial real estate veterans are forming a new investment and services firm.
Jeff Shaw, Kevin Oats and John Ward announced on Monday they have launched Fairlead Commercial Real Estate, an Atlanta-based company that will buy and manage properties and provide leasing services.
The company will target office and industrial properties in the Southeast and Texas that range from $5 million to $100 million.
The three founders, former executives with Atlanta-based Jackson Oats Shaw, have been involved in more than $1.5 billion in commercial real estate deals. The firm’s principals have stakes in several office buildings across Atlanta and are in negotiations to purchase four more properties.
The members of the state ethics commission, eager to bring order to one of the most disordered corners of state government, hired a “receiver” last week to heal their agency and then did they only thing they could.
