Bartow teacher charged with child molestation

A Bartow County teacher is in custody after authorities say she molested a child.
Gina Leigh Sabin, 39, turned herself into the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, Sheriff Clark Millsap said.
Sabin, of Cartersville, has been charged with two counts of aggravated child molestation for a June 30, 2009 incident, he said.
Millsap said the victim is male and younger than 16, but would not elaborate.
Sabin, a 5th-grade teacher at Cloverleaf Elementary School, is currently being held at the Bartow County jail awaiting a bond hearing.
