Zoo weekend admission free for Atlanta, Fulton County
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Residents and employees of the City of Atlanta and Fulton County will receive free admission to Zoo Atlanta for one adult and up to three children on Saturday, Aug. 8 and Sunday, Aug. 9.
Zoo officials expect up to 16,000 visitors on its Family Days weekend, said Zoo spokeswoman Simone Griffin.
“It’s our way of saying thank you to City of Atlanta and Fulton County residents and employees,” Griffin said.
Eligible guests must present an I.D., which can include a driver’s license, voter identification card, City of Atlanta employee I.D. card, Fulton County Government employee I.D. card or utility bill.
Because of the unusually high volume on these dates, zoo officials are encouraging guests to arrive early and use MARTA, as parking will be limited.
