Woman found dead in Fulton motel

Police are awaiting an autopsy to learn more about a woman found dead Tuesday in a south Fulton County motel room.
A maintenance worker found the body on the floor inside a room at the Travel Inn on Shirley Drive, Fulton County Police Cpl. Kay Lester said.
Police are still investigating and have not confirmed if the woman, who was in her 20s, is the victim of a homicide, Lester said.
Detectives interviewed residents at the motel, but did not find anything suspicious. Police are awaiting an autopsy to learn the woman’s cause of death, Lester said.
