Sketch released in attempted abduction of girl, 13
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Fulton County police have released a sketch of a man suspected of trying to abduct a 13-year-old girl from her school bus stop late last month.
The incident happened on Aug. 27 in the area of Oakley Industrial Boulevard and Spence Road near Fairburn, Fulton County police Cpl. Kay Lester told the AJC.
Lester said the suspect grabbed the girl and put her in the bed of an older-model, green GMC pickup truck with chipped paint and rust spots.
The girl was able to escape when the man went to get into the driver's seat of the truck.
Police described the suspect as a tall, skinny black man, about 30 years old, with long dreadlocks and a New York Yankees logo tattooed on the right side of his neck.
