For the second year in a row, Atlanta ranks as the country's most frugal city, according to the website Coupons.com.

The company's Atlanta patrons printed more than $10 million in coupon savings from the site in 2010 -- nearly twice as much as the previous year. Nearly one-third of the 20 most frugal cities are in the Southeast. Tampa ranked second, followed by Charlotte (sixth), Nashville (seventh), Raleigh (10th) and Miami (13th).

"Especially in the South and Midwest, shoppers know how to keep their pennies in their pockets, racking up substantial savings throughout the year," said Jeanette Pavini, household savings expert for Coupons.com.

Atlantans were 10 times more likely to print coupon savings than the average U.S. resident, according to the survey, and nine times more likely to access coupons via a mobile application.
