Perdue unveils census website
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Gov. Sonny Perdue on Friday launched Georgia’s official census website -- www.census.georgia.gov -- an important step to kick-off the year-long tally of all Georgians.
The website serves as the Georgia Complete Count Committee’s portal to the general public as well as its link to local census committees.
The committee is co-chaired by Mike Beatty, commissioner of the Department of Community Affairs, and Debra Lyons, director of the Governor's Office of Workforce Development.
The website lists committee members, meeting times and other local, state and federal census information.
