Maged S. Aziz has been appointed the 36th Postmaster of Atlanta. Aziz began his career in July 1994 as city letter carrier in Jersey City, New Jersey, and later worked in North Carolina and Texas. Aziz will be responsible for nearly 1,500 employees working in 53 retail stations, branches and carrier units. The Atlanta Post Office delivers mail to more than 400,000 addresses each day.

"Along with the dedicated employees who serve with me, I will do my best to ensure that (customers) get the level of quality service they expect and deserve," Aziz said.
