An early morning crash Sunday claimed the life of a Jonesboro man who was riding a motorcycle.

Albert Davis, 32, collided with an SUV around 2:30 a.m. on Old National Highway and was pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital after 4 a.m., Cpl. Kay Lester, a spokeswoman for the Fulton County Police Department, told the AJC.

No one has been charged in the incident, which occurred near Jolly Road.

Investigators found the SUV driver at the scene and "haven't totally eliminated" the possibility that a third vehicle was involved, Lester said. The SUV apparently pulledĀ  into the roadway ahead of the northbound Davis.

Investigators believe the motorcyclist tried to stop suddenly.

"It looked like when the SUV pulled out, he locked his brakes," Lester said.

Investigators are also looking at the ownership of the motorcycle. It is unclear whether Davis acquired it legally, Lester said.

"The motorcycle was listed as stolen out of Delaware," she said.
