Mitt Romney to speak at Emory

Mitt Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts, will give a speech at Emory University March 30. The lecture is sponsored by the Emory Law Federalist Society and Emory College Republicans.

Gov. Sonny Perdue is scheduled to introduce Romney, a 2008 presidential candidate.

The speech is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Emory's Glenn Memorial Auditorium. A question-and-answer session is scheduled from 8 to 8:30 p.m., followed by a book signing.

While the event is free, organizers are encouraging people to register at www.law.emory.edu/mittromneyevent.

Seating is first-come, first-served and there will be reserved seating for law students.
