Midtown stabbing death remains a mystery

Police have not identified a suspect or a motive in last weekend's stabbing death in Midtown.

Divius Slaton, 28, was stabbed multiple times in the arms and legs about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, May 22, on Eighth Street, near Cypress Street, Atlanta police said.

The man who killed Slaton ran to a blue Dodge Charger and drove away, police said.

Police said they did not have a current address for Slaton.

Authorities have released no further information about the case.
