Will wedding bells be ringing in the near future for Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed? The 42-year-old bachelor said he may be married by the end of his term when asked by host Angela Robinson on the community affairs show "In Contact."

The pre-taped show produced by the Atlanta Association of Black Journalists airs at 9 a.m. Sundays on PBS.

During the last few minutes of this Sunday's show, Robinson asked guest Mayor Reed questions posed by viewers.

When asked about marriage before the end of this term Reed smiled and said, "Yes, I think so."

He refused to elaborate further on the program.

Reached late Sunday morning by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, mayoral spokesperson Sonji Jacobs said the mayor would have no further comment on the matter.
