Georgia endured its 6th-coldest February
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
You probably don’t need any scientific data to tell you it was cold in February.
But here it is anyhow.
Georgia had the sixth-coldest February on record, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Neighbor Alabama had the same record as well, according to NOAA, whose figures came from its National Climatic Data Center.
And going south didn’t mean things got any warmer. Florida’s February was the fourth coldest on record.
The climate data center’s figures go back to 1895.
