A Fulton County teacher and another person had their first appearance in court Saturday morning after being arrested on drug charges.

Angela Hardee-Williamson, a special education teacher at Tri-Cities High School, and Randolph Williamson were arrested Thursday after a yearlong narcotics investigation. Their relation is unclear.

Two other individuals were also arrested at a home in the 3100 block of Washington Road in East Point as investigators with the East Point Police Department Special Operations Unit executed a search warrant on the house.

Friday night Hardee-Williamson and Williamson were transferred to the Fulton County Jail.

Hardee-Williamson and Williamson both face multiple narcotics related offenses, including possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, said police. They both also face a charge of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony for a 9 mm pistol that was recovered during the arrest.

The other two, Zel Britt and Shamika Flowers, were charged them with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, East Point jail records confirmed. Britt paid $1,000 and left the jail early Saturday; Flowers left Friday night after paying the same amount, according to jail records.

Hardee-Williamson's bond was set at $12,000 and Williamson's bond was set at $11,000. The two were still being held in the Fulton County Jail Saturday afternoon.
