A Fulton County sheriff's deputy who helped to secure the jail is now an inmate there.

Raheim Lowery, 30, was booked into the jail Wednesday after he allegedly brought marijuana there, said sheriff's spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan.

Lowery was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and with crossing the guard lines of a jail with prohibited items, Flanagan said.

The deputy was hired in December and was still under probationary status. He will be fired Friday, Flanagan said.
