Fatih groups take on domestic violence

The Faith Alliance of Metro Atlanta will sponsor a program examining the response of the faith community to domestic violence.
The program will be held from noon until 1:30 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Ahavath Schim Synagogue, 600 Peachtree Battle Ave.
The program is open to faith leaders, social workers, activists and others. Presenters are Rabbi Elana Zelony, assistant rabbi at Congregation Shearith Israel and Greg Laughlin, a coordinator at the Georgia Domestic Violence Fatality Review Project, which is a joint initiative of the Georgia Commission on Family Violence and the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
