Expect a clogged connector through the weekend

A Georgia Tech football game and a downtown fun run should make for a crowded Downtown Connector during the Thursday drive home.

Tech and Clemson kick off at 7:30 p.m. Thirty minutes earlier, Kaiser Permanente will hold its Corporate 5K Run/Walk, which begins near Turner Field.

It'll be even worse this weekend. The Georgia Department of Transportation tells drivers to expect major northbound lane closures on I-75/I-85 between 10th Street and the Brookwood Interchange through Monday.
