Emory popular on iTunes U

Emory University officials announced that 1 million downloads have been made from the college’s iTunes U site.
The site includes lectures, interviews from faculty and researchers and other items, which are housed through Apple’s iTunes store. The college has more than 1,700 audio and video podcasts, including talks from when the Dalai Lama visited and readings from author and Pulitzer Prize winner Alice Walker, whose archival papers were acquired by Emory.
University officials said students and others average about 1,200 downloads per week from the site, www.itunes.emory.edu. October will mark Emory’s one-year anniversary with iTunes U.
