Another home invasion in Atlanta
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
No one was hurt Tuesday evening when three men broke into a house in Buckhead and robbed the place with the resident present, police said.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the 2500 block of Lenox Road, said Sgt. Curtis Davenport of the Atlanta Police Department.
The victim told police that there was a noise at the front door, and then three men in black entered and forced the victim to lie down. They took electronics and a purse, Davenport said.
Atlanta residents have endured a string of home invasions and attempted armed robberies that started with a carjacking in Buckhead earlier this month. One man, Charles Boyer, 39, was killed last week in one of those attacks. The attacks often involved three men.
But Davenport said police do not believe the Lenox Road robbers were involved in the other robberies.
