A caller's tip to the Crime Stoppers line led police to the man accused of robbing five Family Dollar stores.

Jimmy Lee Harris, 19, was taken into custody Thursday evening at an East Point home, according to Officer James Polite. The FBI and Fulton County police assisted Atlanta police with the arrest.

Harris faces armed robbery and assault charges, according to police. He also faces charges for child molestation and sexual battery against a minor.

Earlier this week, police asked for the public's help in finding Harris, who was believed to be involved with five robberies.

Family Dollar stores on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, Martin Luther King Drive, and Moreland Avenue were hit. The robberies began on Sept. 2, and the most recent incident was on Sept. 24, police said.

Harris is being held at the Fulton County jail.
