Atlanta weather | Rain for early Sunday
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Metro Atlantans will wake up to showers early Sunday, but the sky is expected to clear later in the day and cooler temperatures will prevail.
“There could be a few flurries late Sunday across the mountains but nothing that would cause any problems,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brad Nitz said.
The high Sunday will be in the mid 50s, and the low Sunday night will be around 49.
Looking ahead, the highs will remain in the mid 50s Monday but begin climbing into the low to mid 60s Tuesday, and upper 60s Wednesday and Thursday.
Nighttime lows will be near freezing Monday but climb into the low to mid 40s Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
