Atlanta weather | Monday morning will be cold
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
You should expect a cold start to your Monday morning, but the good news is, a warm up is right around the corner.
It will be cold again tonight as temperatures fall into the low to mid 20s to start Monday, said Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brad Nitz. Monday's low will be a chilly 24, and highs may reach 52.
Clouds will increase Monday afternoon ahead of a system that will bring a chance of a rain and snow mix in metro Atlanta early Tuesday, Nitz said. Expect a low of 36 and a high of 48.
Farther north across the Georgia mountains as much as an inch of snow may fall before changing to all rain by Tuesday afternoon, he added.
Here's the good news: Sunshine with highs in the 60s will quickly return by Wednesday, Nitz said. You'll likely see a high of 63 and a low of 37.
